Our Self-Adhesive EPDM D-Section Rubber Seal is a flexible hollow rubber profile designed for doors, access panels, hatches, enclosures and a wide range of general sealing applications.
The hollow D-section profile compresses easily when the door or panel is closed, creating an effective seal without requiring excessive closing force. This makes it particularly useful for applications where a softer, more forgiving compression seal is required.
Manufactured from durable EPDM rubber with a self-adhesive backing, the seal is easy to install and offers excellent resistance to weathering, UV and ozone.
Key Features
Hollow D-Section Design: The hollow profile allows the seal to compress easily, providing flexible sealing and cushioning around doors and panels.
Reduced Closing Pressure: The soft compression profile helps minimise unnecessary pressure on hinges, latches, gas struts and other door hardware.
Self-Adhesive Backing: Peel-and-stick backing allows for quick installation onto suitable clean, dry surfaces.
Durable EPDM Rubber: EPDM provides excellent resistance to UV, ozone, weathering and ageing, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.
Flexible Sealing: Helps seal against dust, draughts, water and moisture, depending on the installation and level of compression.
Continuous Lengths: Available in continuous lengths of up to 33 metres, reducing the need for joins in larger applications.
